Thursday, June 24
Departure Times and Locations

  • 6:15 am - Van Wert Pick’n Save

  • 7:00 am - Celina Chief’s Parking Lot         

  • 7:15 am - Coldwater Depot                                

  • 7:30 am - St Henry Football Stadium                 

Juice and Danish will be served aboard the coach as we begin our journey to the famous Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN.  Rest stops will be provided every 2½ hrs.  We’ll be stopping for lunch (on your own) and will be arriving at the resort at approximately 3:00pm (Nashville Time.)  After settling into your Atrium View Room (complete with balcony) you’ll have time to stroll through their nine acres of beautiful tropical gardens and soothing flowing waterways…nothing’s more relaxing!  This evening we have tickets to the Daniel O’Donnell Concert at the Grand Ole Opry House. Daniel sings a mix of easy listening, country, Irish, and rock n’ roll songs.  He pulls out all  the stops in his sing-along-fest as audience members join him in tunes like, “Wooden Heart”, “Sing Me an Old Irish Song”, and “Blackboard of My Heart.”

Friday, June 25
First you’ll be treated to a delicious breakfast buffet at the Opryland Resort.  Then you may enjoy the day however you’d wish….perhaps you’d like to take the shuttle to Opry Mills Mall (over 200 stores!)

Maybe you’d like to sign up for a tour that departs from the resort www.graylinenashville.com.

This evening we’ll head to the General Jackson Showboat for a prime rib dinner, a three-hour cruise down the Cumberland River, and a show entitled Country Music USA (including songs from Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Garth Brooks, Reba McIntyre, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts.)

Saturday, June 26
Again you’ll start the day by enjoying a breakfast buffet at the resort.  We’ll be checking out of our rooms at 10:00am and arriving back home at approximately 8:00pm (Ohio Time.)
